Monday July 4th
City announces Independence Day holiday schedule of services
The City of San Antonio will observe the Independence Day holiday on Monday, July 4. Garbage, recyclables and brush will be collected as scheduled, while City Hall and most municipal offices will be closed in observance of the holiday.
Other City services will operate as follows:
- Municipal Court, 401 S. Frio, will beclosed.
- The Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Center will be closed.
- City Base, Las Palmas , Oak Ridge Plaza , South Park and Valley View Community Link Centers will be closed.
- Central Library and all branch libraries will be open Saturday, July 2 and Sunday, July 3. The Central and all branch libraries will be closed on Monday, July 4.
- Downtown parking meters will not be enforced.
- All municipal golf courses and facilities will be open.
- The Bitters Brush Recycling Center , 1800 Bitters Road , will be open.
- Police, fire and EMS personnel will be on duty as usual.
- Dead animal collection crews will be on duty as usual.
