Ribbon Cutting For Rodriguez Park Improvements

  The improvements to this project involved the reclamation of  Rodriguez Road from Old Hwy 90 to the Park Entrance. 
·   The reclamation improvements widened the existing two lane roadway to a minimum 26 feet.  New curbs and sidewalks were provided.
·  The project was constructed by contract forces - J3 Excavation Company
·  Project construction began in July 20, 2010 and was completed on August 31, 2010. 
·  The cooperative efforts of the Contractor and City Staff made it possible for the entire project to be completed in about 1 month.
·  The project was funded with Excess Bonds. The total estimated project cost is $220,000.

MORE:         Reclamation of Rodriguez Road from Hwy 90 to the Rodriguez Park entrance. The project involved the widening of the existing two lane roadway, and included new curbs and sidewalks.  This project was constructed by contractor J3 Excavation Company.
                       
                        Cooperative efforts made it possible for the project to be completed in a short period of time. Construction began on July 20, 2010 and was completed on August 31, 2010. The total estimated cost for this project is $220,000.
