Help stuff backpacks for kids
With school starting soon our State House of Representative Jose Menendez is again delivering backpacks to the school children whose parents are unable to afford school supplies. I have been asked to get a group together to stuff these backpacks and I am asking for your help.
If you could please help out I and Jose would really appreciate it. Jackie and Wavie and others did it last year. So Jeff Peterson said the supplies should be in this coming Monday and we will sit up tables in his office and start stuffing. With enough volunteers we could get it done in no time.
Jose has supported us in the past so let's support him. So ask your friend or neighbor if they could help also. I would like to see at least 10 or 15 people get involved and we could get it knock out in a few hours.
I think 9:30 or 10:00 am would be a good start time but will know something definitely soon. But it will be next Monday 1 August. So please let me know if I can count on you.

Timber creek update
The asphalt on Timbercreek drive was replaced from curb to curb and from end to end per COSA ROW instruction and approval. SAWS pipe line turns into the easement to the property at the corner of Timbercreek and Loop 410 access road where the tunnel starts to go under Loop 410. COSA ROW inspectors approved SAWS mill and HMAC overlay plan which goes to the start of the radius at that intersection. This is typical for this type of repairs and replacements. We are currently scheduled for street striping on Thursday (7/14) and the speed bumps are scheduled for delivery and installation next week.
